Job summary

Centurion Selection is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join the construction team in the Washington, DC region. This role focuses on multifamily projects, supporting the Superintendent with day-to-day management, scheduling, safety, and quality control on Class A communities.

You'll coordinate with subcontractors and design teams, review drawings, and help advance toward a Superintendent-level role on a growing portfolio of high-profile projects on the East Coast.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience with multifamily required.
• Experience with wrap, podium, mid-rise or other complex multifamily construction preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day management of multifamily projects.
• Monitor subcontractor performance for safety, quality, and schedule.
• Assist with scheduling, sequencing, inspections, and quality control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
• Review drawings and specifications and resolve field conflicts.
• Track project progress and report schedule and quality issues.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout, and turnover activities.
• Maintain a strong field presence and uphold standards.
