Job summary

Beechmont Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Training to join the Agronomy Team, reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistants. This role offers hands-on experience at a private facility with exposure to grow-in management, irrigation troubleshooting, and tournament preparation.

Ideal candidates are self-starters with attention to detail and a passion for golf course management.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Passion for the golf course industry.
• Pursuing a Turfgrass or related degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers (renovated).
• Support irrigation system operation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in planning and executing agronomic programs.
• Participate in tournament preparation to deliver championship conditions.
• Support grow-in and recovery from course renovations.
• Assist with master plan and construction projects.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively within a team environment.
