Job summary

Miller Valentine Construction seeks a field-oriented supervisor to maintain daily contact with subcontractors and MVCC field staff, promoting project interests and safety.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Engineering/Construction or related experience, with at least three years in building construction, and strong communication across diverse teams. You will coordinate trades and verify adherence to plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture or equivalent.
• Three years of building construction experience required.
• Knowledge of contract documents, drawings and specifications, line & grade (survey).
• Strong communication skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze problems, data, and make decisions based on factual evidence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct daily contact with subcontractor representatives, foreman, and MVCC field staff to protect MVCC interests.
• Monitor field variations and inform the Project Superintendent of changes.
• Ensure subcontractors understand schedules and strive to meet them.
• Review manpower and material delivery to meet progress schedules.
• Coordinate trades and supervise line and grade crews; train subordinates.
