MPI's client, a respected commercial contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to advance from field leadership toward a Superintendent role on ground-up projects.

You will oversee site operations, coordinate subs, monitor schedules, and ensure safety and quality; strong communication and organization are essential; salary is $80,000 to $92,700 with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Assistant Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
• Ground-up commercial construction experience required.
• Experience on municipal, higher education, office, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules and sequencing.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High-energy, career-driven mindset with a path to Superintendent.
• Proficiency with construction management technology and project documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of commercial construction projects.
• Support coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and on-site activities.
• Monitor project schedules and milestones.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Help enforce site safety programs and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
