Job summary

Landscapes Unlimited seeks a trainee Project Supervisor to assist in daily operations and crew supervision on golf course and sportsfield construction projects. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, monitoring quality, and ensuring safety while coordinating with the Project Superintendent.

The role involves staking, drainage, irrigation, greens/tees/bunker work, equipment operation, and on-site training. Travel and long hours are required to meet project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in golf course construction or general construction.
• Experience operating rubber tire equipment (tractors, loaders, trucks).
• Ability to travel and work a 55-hour week.
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Superintendent with daily operations and supervise crews.
• Oversee staking/layout, greens, tees, bunkers, drainage and irrigation construction.
• Ensure equipment and site safety; maintain and operate owned and rental gear.
• Provide on-the-job training to employees based on project needs or skill gaps.
• Report crew progress for project billing and coordinate with supervisors.
• Follow company safety standards and communicate effectively with team members.
