Job summary

Landscapes Unlimited is seeking a trainee Project Superintendent assistant to support daily operations on golf course and sportsfield projects. You will help delegate tasks, supervise crews, and ensure work meets quality standards and safety guidelines.

You will assist with staking, drainage, irrigation and equipment operation while learning project budgets and schedules under supervision. Travel may be involved as projects require.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in golf course or general construction, or golf course maintenance field or equivalent education in Turf or Construction Management.
• Experience operating rubber tire equipment such as tractors, loaders (minimum of 200 hours) and trucks in golf course or sportsfield construction, or earthwork construction operations such as land development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Superintendent in daily operations with delegation and supervision of crews.
• Perform staking/layout, erosion control, greens, tees, bunkers, drainage and irrigation tasks.
• Ensure equipment and property are operated and maintained safely.
• Manage crews to meet budget, schedule, design and specs.
• Provide on-the-job training and report progress to the Superintendent.
