Qualifications

• 2-5 years of residential construction, trade, warranty, quality control, field coordination, or Assistant Superintendent experience preferred.
• Candidates with strong field aptitude, organization, attention to detail, and a demonstrated desire to grow into a Superintendent role may also be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction-related education, certifications, or coursework preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, and building codes.
• Experience using construction management and project tracking software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple homes, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections at major construction milestones (pre-drywall, pre-paint, pre-final) and identify defects or deviations from Bear Homes’ standards.
• Document findings with photos, location, trade, corrective action, due dates, and status in the field management system.
• Verify corrective work is completed and re-inspected before sign-off.
• Maintain required quality control checklists at each milestone.
• Coordinate with superintendents and trades to complete items on time and prevent delays.
• Support standardization of defect documentation and tracking across homes and communities.
• Assist in expansion of field management processes and documentation practices.
