Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field leadership on active projects in Florida. You will assist with planning, sequencing, and trade partner coordination while gaining hands-on experience on site.

The role emphasizes daily documentation, safety compliance, and progress tracking to prepare you for independent project leadership in the future.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of commercial construction field experience or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction methods and CSI MasterFormat divisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent with project planning, sequencing, logistics, and staffing.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules and look-ahead plans; coordinate with trade partners.
• Prepare RFIs and communicate questions to the project team.
• Complete daily reports, progress photos, inspections, and safety documentation in Procore.
• Maintain organized project records, logs, drawings, sign-in sheets, labor reports, and material tracking.
• Champion Hedrick Brothers' safety culture; conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections.
