Job summary

Primus Builders, Inc. seeks an Assistant Superintendent in training who will work under the direct supervision of the assigned Superintendent on our project sites.

You will perform daily site inspections, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain schedules, and document weather and field conditions, manpower, and progress. Frequent travel to sites (90%) and exposure to extreme temperatures are expected, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline or at least 1+ years of field construction experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
• Experience using construction software preferred.
• Must be able to multi-task; prioritize; and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Daily Site Inspection
• Maintain daily subcontractor communication and coordination.
• Complete Safety Citations as needed
• Verify all inspections have been done
• Posters up to date and maintain project documentation
• Be involved in maintaining project schedule each day
