Job summary

MPI is seeking a field-based Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent to join a fast-growing New England GC. You will oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, coordinate subs, and help manage schedules on multifamily and commercial projects.

Bring 3–7+ years of GC field experience, concrete and steel scope knowledge, and strong communication. Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field preferred; base salary $85-100K with growth potential on projects up to $120M.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of field experience with a General Contractor in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent capacity.
• Experience managing concrete and steel construction scopes is required.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of jobsite operations from project start through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules
• Monitor jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with company standards
• Support the Superintendent with scheduling, logistics planning, and construction sequencingParticipate in project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Help oversee concrete and structural steel activities during critical phases of construction
• Track project milestones and proactively identify potential field issues
• Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports
