Job summary

Pogue Construction in College Station, TX, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our field team. You will report to the Superintendent, manage on-site activities, and ensure project plans and specs are followed from start to finish.

Responsibilities include assisting in mobilization, scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety, producing daily reports, and supporting O.A.C. meetings. A strong team player with construction knowledge is desired.

Qualifications

• 3 years spent working in the construction field with knowledge of multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee punch list completion.
• Follows and enforces all safety guidelines to ensure a safe jobsite.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report directly to Superintendent over your project
• Knowledge of plans and specs
• Assist Superintendent with project responsibilities
  • Project start up and mobilization
  • Drafting RFI's
  • Posting of all drawings
  • As-Built
  • Scheduling
  • Organize & direct Subcontractors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Quality Control
  • Organize files, plans & shop drawings
• Oversee punch list completion
• Follows and enforces all safety guidelines to ensure a safe jobsite
• Assist Superintendent with daily reports
• Assist in O.A.C. Meetings
• Other tasks as assigned
