Job summary

Pogue Construction in College Station seeks an Assistant Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities, report to the project Superintendent, and coordinate with subcontractors. This role requires knowledge of plans and specs, strong organization, and a focus on safety and quality.

You will manage startup tasks, RFIs, drawings, schedules, and daily reports, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining clean, safe job sites.

Qualifications

• 3 years spent working in the construction field with a knowledge of multiple trades.
• Knowledge of plans and specifications.
• Ability to assist in coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety on site.

• Assist Superintendent with project responsibilities.
• Project startup and mobilization.
• Draft RFIs.
• Posting of all drawings.
• As-Built.
• Scheduling.
• Organize & direct Subcontractors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Quality Control.
• Organize files, plans & shop drawings.
• Oversee punch list completion.
• Enforce safety guidelines on the jobsite.
• Assist in daily reports.
• Assist in O.A.C. Meetings.
• Other tasks as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report directly to Superintendent over your project
• Knowledge of plans and specs
• Assist Superintendent with project responsibilities
