Job summary

LHH is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Delray Beach to support day-to-day field operations on high-end residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with the Superintendent to maintain schedules, quality, and safety.

This role offers growth into a full Superintendent position and requires strong reading of plans, coordination with subs, and hands-on site oversight. Candidates should have 2+ years of construction experience and a track record of coordinating trades, logging

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/construction documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and coordination.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and material logistics.
• Monitor jobsite progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Assist with scheduling and sequencing of trades.
• Review plans and identify field issues and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct jobsite walks and monitor quality and workmanship.
• Assist with inspections and ensure work is ready for required inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
• Track daily progress, manpower, materials, and site conditions.
• Assist with punch list and project closeout.
• Communicate regularly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, and project team.

• High-end residential, custom home, commercial, hospitality, or country club construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with concrete, framing, masonry, MEP, and interior finishes is a plus.
• Procore or other construction management software experience preferred.
