Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead field operations on our projects in the Seattle area. This role focuses on ensuring timely, profitable completion while coordinating crews and subcontractors, without performing manual labor.

You will report to the Senior Superintendent and work within Skanska values of diversity and inclusion, safety, and quality. A bachelor's in construction or engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years prior relevant experience with basic knowledge of construction including equipment, labor, means and methods.
• Practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigned specific field operations on the project and ensure timely, profitable completion.
• Actively and independently manage those who do manual labor as needed without performing manual labor yourself.

The Assistant Superintendent is assigned specific field operations on the project. He/she is responsible for timely and profitable completion of each assignment. The Assistant Superintendent will not be required to perform manual labor in this position but will actively and independently manage those who do.

Assistant Superintendent Qualifications:
