Infinite Consulting Corp. is seeking an on-site Assistant Construction Superintendent in Jersey City, NJ. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring schedule adherence on long-term projects.

The candidate should have strong reading plans, OSHA compliance, and a background in residential carpentry or equivalent construction oversight. Excellent collaboration with teams is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree is a plus but college not necessary if experience is diverse and immense.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a construction superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project team regarding critical path items and schedule updates.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and vendors on job sites.
• Receive and store jobsite materials in an organized manner.
• Enforce safety, health, and environmental quality standards among subcontractors.
• Attend regular walkthroughs with project teams and other departments.
• Verify subcontractors' time spent for extra work.
• Schedule inspections with building department and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Understand and perform layout of construction drawings.

Looking for someone to provide on-site coordination for new construction projects, including coordination of subcontractors and vendors, material and equipment, and ensuring the work is proceeding on schedule. To work daily on site coordinating day to day operations and construction activities. To work under the Construction Superintendent and the Job Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of the onsite construction activities.

Title: Assistant Construction Superintendent

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Looking for a Residential carpenter or ex-carpenter who knows how to do layout, is familiar with building codes, and read plans.

Duration: Long term

Role and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with project team members regarding critical path items, job schedule updates, and RFI’s.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and vendors on the job sites.
• Receive and store jobsite materials in an organized manner.
• Ensure and enforce subcontractors’ compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Attend regular walkthroughs with project team members and other departments.
• Verify subcontractors’ time spent for any extra work
• Ability to motivate and push subcontractors to adhere to project schedule
• Work with project team members to schedule and attend inspections with the building department.
• Ability to understand, read and comprehend blueprints and construction drawings.
• Needs to have all OSHA requirements to be a Superintendent in Jersey City.
• Ability to understand and perform layout of construction drawings.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree is a plus but College not necessary if experience is diverse and immense.
• 7+ years’ experience as a superintendent minimum
