Our client, a dominant force in commercial construction, is searching for an exceptional and results-driven Assistant Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising the daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Communicate project priorities and sequencing to field staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure all trade partners are adhering to the established schedule and site rules.
• Oversee site logistics, including the efficient placement of materials, management of temporary facilities/utilities, and maintenance of a clean and organized job site.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries, ensuring they arrive on time and are accurately stored and safeguarded against loss, damage, or waste.

Key Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, with prior experience in a supervisory or foreman role preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and communicating construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and scheduling software.
