Job summary

PSR Talent Solutions is seeking a Lead Foreman or Assistant Superintendent to support a major wastewater treatment plant project in the Houston area. You will coordinate day-to-day field activities, crews, and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient construction work that meets project standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Lead Foreman, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership on large-scale projects.
• Strong background in underground pipe and equipment installation and/or heavy concrete construction.
• Desirable: experience in water, wastewater, industrial, heavy civil, or treatment plant construction.
• Ability to lead field crews and coordinate subcontractors.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field construction activities.
• Lead crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Support underground pipe and equipment installation activities.
• Oversee heavy concrete construction activities where applicable.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site activities.
• Work closely with the Superintendent and project management team.
• Monitor progress and ensure alignment with schedules.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity, quality, or schedule.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades on site.
• Maintain clear communication between field crews and project management.
• Assist daily planning, reporting, and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and project delivery.

Job description

PSR Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for a Lead Foreman or Assistant Superintendent to support a major wastewater treatment plant project in the Houston area.

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a background in either underground pipe and equipment installation, heavy concrete construction, or both.

You’ll be responsible for helping coordinate field activities, crews, subcontractors, and day-to-day construction operations, working closely with the wider project team to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

The Role

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field construction activities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Lead Foreman, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership position.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong background in underground pipe and equipment installation and/or heavy concrete construction.
• Experience within water, wastewater, industrial, heavy civil, or treatment plant construction is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead and coordinate field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project management and field teams.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
