Conley Resort & Golf, Suncrest Golf & Grille by the St. Barnabas Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. The role supports the superintendent in planning maintenance, supervising staff and equipment, and overseeing irrigation and pesticide applications.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of turf experience, an associate degree or turf-related degree, and PA pesticide license (or able to obtain quickly). Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of golf course maintenance and cultural practices.
• Proficiency with fertilizers, pest control methods, drainage and irrigation systems.
• Ability to plan, supervise, and schedule maintenance work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and supervising maintenance of all golf course grounds and schedules work.
• Supervises employees and use of equipment; directs maintenance tasks.
• Instructs operators on mowing equipment and oversees pesticide applications.
• Supervises irrigation and drainage system operation and maintenance.
• Assists in personnel management, safety, and discipline.
