Job summary

iLocatum in Tampa Bay, FL is seeking a Superintendent, Heavy Civil to lead day-to-day field operations on active highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. You will manage crews and subcontractors, set schedules, drive production, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years with heavy civil projects, reading plans and specs, and FDOT experience is a plus. The role includes a company vehicle, fuel card, 401(k) with match up to 6%, full benefits, and education

Qualifications

• 5+ years running crews as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent on heavy civil work.
• Ability to read plans and specs and build the work from them.

A large heavy civil contractor with a national footprint and a busy Florida program is hiring a Superintendent for highway, bridge, and infrastructure work in the Tampa Bay area. This is a strong opportunity for a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or General Superintendent who likes running the field, wants bigger projects, and wants to grow with a contractor that's adding work, not cutting it.

What You Bring

• 5+ years running crews as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent on heavy civil work
• Highway, bridge, roadway, drainage, waterworks, or utility experience
• Ability to read plans and specs and build the work from them

Nice to Have

• FDOT project experience
• Bridge or structures experience
• OSHA 30 and MOT/TTC certification
• Bilingual English and Spanish

Compensation And Benefits

$110,000 to $145,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity. Benefits include a company vehicle and fuel card, 401(k) with company match up to 6%, a full benefits package, and education reimbursement.
