Job summary

Ulta Beauty seeks an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services and products. This temporary role trains under a senior stylist, focusing on guest service, productivity, and total-look outcomes.

During months 4–6, you may begin servicing guests independently, expanding your skills in hair design, color, texture, makeup, and related services while maintaining brand standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to learn and perform a wide range of hair services.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and meet store goals for sales and service.
• Assist mentor stylist to achieve hair service and product goals.
• Perform hair services after month three including design, color, styling, and extensions where applicable.
• Maintain store and salon cleanliness and safety compliance.
