Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role trains under a senior stylist, focusing on guest service, productivity, and learning additional technical skills.

During months 4–6, you will begin servicing guests of your own and expand your service offerings, with opportunities to assist in color, styling, and makeup applications.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Ability to learn salon techniques and product lines.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and assess hair care needs.
• Recommend and sell hair care products and services.
• Perform guest consultations under mentor stylist guidance.
• Assist with hair services and blowouts as the role progresses.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the salon.
• Assist in in-store events and promotions.
