Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role is designed to train talent for a stylist position, with mentorship for the first 3 months.

During months 4–6, the Assistant Stylist will perform hair services under guidance, develop client relationships, and support retail and service goals while learning new techniques and standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of latest salon techniques for haircutting, color, styling and makeup
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to build and maintain clientele and work with team

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and consult on hair care needs
• Recommend products and services to guests
• Perform hair services after 3 months of mentorship
