Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role prepares you for a stylist position, mentored by Elite or Master Stylists during the first months, with hands-on experience building guest relationships and boosting service sales.

After initial months, you will begin serving your own guests while upholding safety, sanitation, and brand standards, and supporting events to deliver an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to learn and perform various salon services.
• Willingness to stay informed on trends, products, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals.
• Assist mentor stylist with hair services and product recommendations.
• Perform hair services after three months and demonstrate products to guests.
• Support in-store events and promotions to enhance guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends and maintain professional appearance.
