Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Stylist in Redlands, CA. This temporary role focuses on guest consultations, product recommendations, and learning under an Elite/Master Stylist for the first 3 months, then servicing guests independently.

The position emphasizes guest service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should hold a Cosmetology license and demonstrate strong communication, client relationships, and a willingness to learn advanced hair and makeup

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Basic understanding of latest salon techniques for haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, and makeup.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales.
• Support mentor Stylist in achieving sales and productivity goals for hair services.
• After 3 months, perform hair services including design, cuts, color, styling, and brow services where applicable.
• Demonstrate products to guests to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on new trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
