Job description

CycleBar is seeking an Assistant Sales / Studio Manager for our state-of-the-art location in Leawood. Our Assistant Managers are passionate about fitness and delivering a superior experience. They focus on driving sales and revenue within the studio.

ASM is responsible for supporting the General Manager in achieving studio sales goals, membership renewals, and ancillary service targets through strategic outreach, in-club leads (first-time riders), and securing member referrals. Under the management of a Franchise Owner, national sales director, and supported by a CycleBar Experience team, Sales Managers must demonstrate leadership qualities across all areas of the business. The General Manager should excel in building lasting relationships with prospective and current members to foster strong ambassadorship and retention. The role is rooted in hospitality and aligns with our Mission of fueling energetic communal experiences.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Confidence in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales techniques.
  • Ability to manage and drive two revenue streams: memberships and retail.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Recognize areas for improvement and implement changes using good judgment.
  • Passion for fitness.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public.
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software.

Duties:

  • Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking.
  • Membership sales and retention.
  • Manage staff schedules.
  • Supervise CBX teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio.
  • Participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Acquire new members and retain existing members.
  • Convert non-membership users to members.
  • Conduct monthly pre-planning activities, including outreach to secure first-time riders/leads.
  • Build rapport and lasting relationships with members, embracing hospitality and the CycleBar culture.
  • Coach, train, and educate the CBX team on hospitality and sales tactics, working with the owner on team accountability.
  • Set and work towards monthly, weekly, and daily targets with the studio owner.
  • Drive referral business through ambassadorship.
