Job Title: Assistant Store Supervisor

The Assistant Store Supervisor is responsible for expediting shipments of parts sent and returned from or to XL Parts/The Parts House distribution center(s).

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Shipping and receiving of merchandise
  2. Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45-minute window
  3. Inventory and cycle counts
  4. Schedule contract drivers based on company needs
  5. Answer customer questions and address complaints
  6. Store opening and closing duties
  7. Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits
  8. Stock and pull parts
  9. Answer phones
  10. Keep store and front counter clean
  11. Maintain a safe warehouse environment
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Degree or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Highly motivated to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

A typical 9-hour day may involve reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting, and carrying. The role may require working in a fast-paced environment and lifting 50 lbs or more. Routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash disposal are also part of the responsibilities.
