Job summary

Signet Jewelers Limited, operating Zales, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets while delivering outstanding customer service. You will help train and evaluate team members, recruit staff, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to drive a superior in-store experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to professional growth within a dynamic jewelry retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience required.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners; basic computer software/hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; recruit and select staff.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures; perform other operational and strategic duties.

Join our team as an Assistant Store Manager and have a positive impact on many lives. Our Assistant Store Managers assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections; contributing to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction; developing skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; and recruiting and selection of team members. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for following and enforcing all Company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. Job Requirements

A Sampling of our Total Rewards

Base pay, $16.50 - $21.00 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
