Signet Jewelers’ Zales unit is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Palm Desert, CA. You will support the Store Manager with daily sales, coaching, and mentoring of team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will train in product knowledge and sales techniques, help recruit staff, and ensure adherence to all policies while driving sales and loyalty. This is a dynamic role with growth opportunities within a strong, customer-focused brand.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in jewelry or specialty retail.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily sales and profit targets.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and team development.
• Develop product knowledge through training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Our Assistant Store Managers assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections
• contributing to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction
• developing skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation
• and recruiting and selection of team members
• The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for following and enforcing all Company policies and procedures
• performing other operational and strategic duties

Job Requirements

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends

• Base pay, $16.90 – $21.20 plus commission on sales.
• Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications
