Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Foley, AL. You will help with opening/closing, merchandise organization, and daily tasks to keep the sales floor stocked and welcoming.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership and the ability to train associates while ensuring safety and policy compliance in a high-energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas of the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure company standards are met.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash and safes.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
