Job summary

The successful candidate will manage merchandising, safety, training, and recruitment while directing store operations when the Store Manager is away. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with a focus on driving performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in all areas including forklifts, DOT, gate, receiving, and service desk.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and vendors.
• Ability to interpret data and manage merchandise and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aggressive customer service is delivered and exceeds expectations.
• Merchandise the retail floor to company standards.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and merchandising across all departments.
• Lead and coach associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training staff.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure on-time loading and prompt pickup.
• Maintain store safety and compliance with procedures.
