Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Schererville, IN to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day tasks, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and ensure store standards and safety guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include supervising and training Store Associates, handling opening/closing duties, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Assist with merchandise organization and inventory from delivery to floors.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, organized store areas and safe environment.
• Adhere to all policies, safety guidelines and company procedures.
