Job summary

TESO LIFE in Chandler, AZ seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support in-store execution, shift leadership, merchandise management, and employee coaching. The role focuses on daily store tasks, floor order, replenishment, expiration checks, customer service, and safe store closing under the Store Manager.

You will help coach employees, manage cashier procedures, and address service exceptions while ensuring top customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in retail management, marketing, or business.
• 3+ years store management experience in retail or related sectors.
• Knowledge of inventory expiration management, cashier procedures, and customer service.
• Strong floor-management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Store Manager's daily priority tasks and coordinate staffing, replenishment, merchandising, customer concerns, and closing inspections.
• Lead on-site operations when Store Manager is absent and maintain normal store operations.
• Check task completion across all areas to ensure follow-up and results are reported.
• Assist with product merchandising, replenishment, shelf organization, front-facing, FIFO rotation, price labels, POP materials, and promotional displays.
• Arrange correction of out-of-stocks, misplaced products, incorrect price labels, expired promotions, and related issues.
• Assist category Team Leads with receiving and shelving merchandise, replenishment, stockroom organization, and product put-away.
• Assist with expiration-date checks, near-expiration records, expiration-risk reviews, damage records, shrink reporting, and exception reporting.
• Ensure no expired products are offered for sale and report exception products accordingly.
• Assist with management of testers, samples, supplies, display props, and promotional gifts.
• Lead by example in customer greetings, recommendations, service language, and farewells.
• Assist with customer complaints, returns/exchanges, and in-store service exceptions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Store Manager or Area Manager.
