Job Description

As a Dollar Express Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner.
2. Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
3. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
4. Supervise, train, and develop store team members on operating practices and procedures, under the direction of the Store Manager.
5. Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
6. Assist the Store Manager with ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
7. Support loss prevention efforts.
8. Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
9. Follow all company policies and procedures.
