Job summary

Petsense, part of Tractor Supply Company, is seeking a store leadership role in Texas. You will supervise the store and salon team, promote a safe, productive environment, and guide daily operations to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include coaching Team Members, driving sales initiatives, managing inventory and POS procedures, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Previous retail leadership and pet knowledge are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Experience with pet/live animals is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead store and salon teams to drive sales, profitability, and customer loyalty.
• Coordinate store operations and staffing, including training and development of Team Members.
• Serve as store leader in the Store Manager’s absence and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Oversee merchandising, cash handling, and loss prevention to protect company assets.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues and promote products and services.
