Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Opelika, AL to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and supervise associates under the Store Manager’s guidance.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
