Hibbett, Inc. in the Macon, GA area is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Retail Operations team. You will assist the Store Manager, oversee daily store operations, merchandising, restocking, scheduling, and provide outstanding customer service.

You will act as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to policies. The role requires retail experience, strong communication, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager in establishing action plans to accomplish selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures and standards as listed in manuals.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting potential fraud.
