Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear; consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility for the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Consult with the Store Manager in establishing action plans to accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities such as selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Be aware of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure extraordinary customer service is maintained per the customer service manual.
