Jetro Restaurant Depot in San Jose is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support retail, grocery and warehouse operations. You will help drive performance, enforce policies, and maintain standards across all departments with the Store Manager.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, cross-department coordination, staffing support, and strong customer service to resolve issues. A track record in multi-department operations and the ability to manage priorities is preferred, with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, warehouse or grocery environments.
• Leadership or supervisory support experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail, grocery and warehouse operations across departments.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures and audits.
• Monitor sales, inventory accuracy, shrink and standards execution.
• Reinforce accountability with department managers.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and team coordination.
• Support inventory control, receiving, merchandising and processes.
• Maintain customer service standards and resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure safety, food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Report operational risks or gaps to the Store Manager.
• Maintain branch organization, cleanliness and readiness.
