Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Cresco, IA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development on a part-time basis.

You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and supervise associates to maintain a clean, friendly environment. The role involves opening/closing procedures, handling corporate directives, and ensuring safety and loss-prevention measures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and stock merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards; protect assets including store cash.
• Train and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe environment.
