Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our downtown Wichita retail location. Lead store operations, supervise staff, and uphold Goodwill’s mission while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, inventory control, and enforcing cash handling procedures; must ensure a welcoming, well-organized shopping environment and represent the organization professionally.

Qualifications

• High school education or the equivalent required.
• One to three years management experience required.
• Must have a pleasing personality, be well groomed and create a favorable impression on those he or she meets.
• A valid driver’s license and insurability is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate a Goodwill Retail store.
• Supervise workers in various personnel groups engaged in operating a retail store.
• Contribute to achievement of Goodwill's mission.
• Oversee store operations, inventory, and cash handling.
• Ensure customer service standards and store cleanliness.
• Assist in hiring, training, and performance coaching.
