Job summary

Sally Beauty in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations, develop and support associates, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will help achieve KPIs and financial targets through planning, analysis, and accountability; assist the Store Manager in all areas when needed.

Responsibilities include supervising brand standards, driving sales, training staff, managing schedules and payroll, and maintaining compliance with safety and policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Brand: supervise and plan associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty in assigned stores.
• People: train and develop teams, recruit to fill positions, coach and counsel, maintain positive associate relations and communicate company information.
• Operations: ensure execution of company processes through training, analysis and continuous improvement, support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment.
• Manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing; handle payroll hours and scheduling; ensure opening/closing procedures; follow company directives.
