Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, OH is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily store operations and staff supervision.

You will help schedule Sales Associates, participate in payroll processing, and work to meet sales, production, and expense goals while keeping the store well stocked and properly displayed. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret income and expense reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in sales preferred; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in scheduling of Sales Associates and payroll.
• Meet sales, production, and expense budget goals to maintain profitability.
• Ensure the store is well stocked and all production is properly displayed on the sales floor.
• Participate in interviewing, training, direction and supervision of personnel, and regular evaluations of staff.
