Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and staff supervision. You will ensure excellent customer service, proper presentation of merchandise, and adherence to store policies.

You will help schedule Sales Associates, assist with payroll, and work toward sales, production, and expense targets to maintain a profitable operation while mentoring a motivated team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in scheduling Sales Associates and payroll.
• Maintain excellent customer service relationships and policy compliance.
• Meet sales, production, and expense budget goals to keep the store profitable.
• Assist with interviewing, training, direction and supervision of personnel.
• Conduct regular evaluations of staff to identify strengths and development needs.
