Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting for sales and tasks, and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and show how their work supports company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment while adhering to Lids Brand Standards (dress code, etc).
• Schedule and staffing the store including calling in associates during peaks when Manager is absent.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safekeeping of inventory, funds and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
