Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, manage expenses and inventory, and develop the store team.

You will uphold customer service standards, assist in hiring and training, monitor loss prevention, and schedule across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work across multiple stores in the district.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one year in retail management.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data accuracy for reports.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall quality and performance of the store staff.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Models leadership to achieve store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of store personnel.
• Assist with performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Assist with expense management and budgeting alignment.
• Monitor shrink and loss prevention to meet company targets.
• Ensure safety and business standards are upheld in the store.
• Support training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
• Maintain outstanding customer service and a friendly environment.
• Assist in inventory counts and accuracy.
