Chattanooga Goodwill Industries is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to oversee daily donated merchandise operations at the LaFayette store. You will manage staff, maintain budgets, and ensure high standards of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an associate degree or related retail management coursework. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations in alignment with agency policies and budgets.
• Hire, train, and supervise store personnel to meet sales and production goals.
• Greet and assist donors and customers, providing excellent service and resolving complaints.
• Maintain confidentiality of agency records and ensure staff adherence to SOPs and safety policies.
• Attend meetings and trainings; manage records and reports timely and accurately.
