Responsibilities
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
- Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance; give feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligned with Company Objectives.
- Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy.
Additional Duties
- Control expenses and protect company assets within policies.
- Assist in store scheduling within wage control guidelines.
- Manage inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counting.
- Perform documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store as required following procedures.
- Support and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Supervision
- Participate in training programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
- Encourage compliance with policies, safeguarding inventory, funds, and property.
- Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above minimum wage based on experience, with bonuses and employee discounts.
Additional Information
