Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
- Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance; give feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligning with company goals.
- Follow visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the Dress Code Policy.
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets within retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counting products.
- Document and record keep per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following procedures.
- Support adherence to all policies and guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in training programs, set goals, and follow up regularly.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
- Encourage compliance with policies, including inventory and funds security.
- Perform duties of subordinates when needed.
- Communicate effectively with all employee levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of work time.
- Ability to work independently.
