General Position Summary

• Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
• Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities aligned with Company Objectives.
• Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, including signage and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Generate Sales

• Produce sales gains through customer service.
• Meet or exceed individual sales and performance objectives.
• Provide feedback and support to team members on sales performance.
• Follow visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance as per Dress Code Policy.

Control Expenses

• Protect company assets following retail policies.
• Assist in scheduling to ensure proper store coverage within wage guidelines.
• Manage inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counting products.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping per policies and legal requirements.
• Open and close the store following operational procedures.
• Support adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise Associates

• Participate in training programs and meet set goals.
• Assist in recruiting and training staff on store operations.
• Encourage compliance with policies and safeguard company property.
• Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to generate sales and minimize loss.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competency in operating computers and related software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work overhead.
• Standing for up to 100% of the shift.
• Ability to work independently.

Preferred Job Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above minimum wage based on experience, with potential store sales bonuses and discounts. Compensation varies by skills, experience, and location.
