Job summary

Sunglass Hut is hiring an Assistant Manager I to join our Miami store. You will partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, coach associates, and manage merchandising and talent acquisition.

You will spend most time on the sales floor and lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain brand standards, and execute promotions. Prior retail leadership and a passion for fashion eyewear are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation.
• Detail-oriented.
• Uses critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of the operational components of the store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and develop associates.
• Utilize reporting/tools to identify gaps in performance and capitalize on successes.
• Provide ongoing coaching for all associates and create an inspirational environment.
• Acquire talent through networking and interviewing with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Spend majority of time on the sales floor.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and maximize tools.
• Maintain brand standards and merchandising.
• Know product knowledge and stay current on products.
• Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
• Communicate brand strategy and promotions clearly to the team.
